Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Bin ‘N’ Out’s services. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Bin & Out provides services including:

  • Weekly bin collection (placing bins out and returning them after collection)

  • Fresh Service (weekly collection plus monthly bin cleaning)

  • One-off bin collection

  • One-off bin cleaning

  • Multiple property and commercial services

Service availability depends on location and scheduling.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and property information.

  • Ensure bins are accessible on service days.

  • Advise us of any gates, security codes, pets or other access requirements.

  • Keep pathways safe and free from hazards.

If we cannot safely access your bins, the scheduled visit may be treated as completed.

3. Service Scheduling

We will make every reasonable effort to complete services on the scheduled day.

Occasionally, services may be delayed due to weather, traffic, vehicle issues, council schedule changes or other circumstances beyond our control.

Where practical, we will notify affected customers.

4. Subscription Services

Weekly services are billed on a recurring basis.

Subscriptions continue until cancelled.

Customers may cancel by providing notice before their next scheduled billing period. Cancellation does not entitle customers to refunds for services already provided.

5. One-Off Services

Payment may be required before a one-off service is completed.

One-off bookings are subject to availability.

6. Pricing

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

Prices may change from time to time. Existing subscription customers will be notified in advance of any pricing changes.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

If a recurring payment fails, we may attempt to process payment again or contact you to update your payment details.

We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

8. Bin Cleaning

Our cleaning service is intended to improve the cleanliness and hygiene of wheelie bins.

While we aim to remove dirt, stains and odours, we cannot guarantee the removal of all staining, residue or damage caused by age, chemicals or misuse.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Bin ‘N’ Out will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the affected service.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

10. Access and Safety

Our team may refuse to enter a property where access is unsafe.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Aggressive animals

  • Unsafe walkways

  • Hazardous conditions

  • Dangerous weather

  • Situations that present a risk to staff

11. Customer Conduct

Customers agree to treat our staff with respect.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services where abusive, threatening or unsafe behaviour occurs.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on our website.

Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
